Nationality: Belgian. For all those who still believe it’s a city, the capital of Antwerp, a province of Germany or whatever absurd kind of community. (experience taught me this isn’t rarely the case) It is a country. A tiny one, but it is one. We exist. Thank you for acknowledging it.

Languages: Dutch, English, French, German (more or less, understanding goes a whole lot better than actually speaking it) Latin.

Option at school: diploma ASO Latin-Greek secondary school, bachelor degree Latin-English linguistics and literature with specialization in literature, Master Latin-English linguistics and literature, teaching degree.

Hobbies:dancing (funk, free style, street dance, ballet, jazz, salsa), skiing, horseback riding, hiking, playing tennis, drawing (surprise surprise),writing stories, reading, going to the movies/theatre/concerts/festivals, photography, travelling and generally having as much fun as possible.

Music: Almost all kinds. But metal is an obvious favourite!

Best qualities:loyalty to friends, optimism, (on a skiing holiday with school the general rule was: if Nikki isn’t cynical anymore, then it IS too cold to go on) humorous.(last holiday I was doing a playful sarcastic quarrel with my dad in the ski lift. Let’s say, we noticed the guy next to us was from Flanders too, cause he burst out into laughter and was actually crying non-stop the whole way up) adventurous and obsessed with my boyfriend I consider that a quality

Worst qualities:incredibly stubborn, (I’ve once hiked 27 km in the mountains with two hurting feet. Nobody noticed until the last two km, and that was because I actually fell on my knees, cause I was unable to stand and I’ve been known to do worse stunts) I do forgive but I never forget, addiction to long-haired cute guys (beware if you’re one of them )
